Can I reserve a domain name before the payment?

Any domain name can be registered only after payment. The domain name remains free and can be registered by any other customer until the payment is confirmed. According to the Terms of Service agreement, Fozzy doesn’t reserve domain names.

What is the registration period for a domain name?

Domains .com, .net, .org, .biz, .name, .info, and most of the others international domains can be registered from 1 to 10 years.

How can I get a free domain?

Who owns the domain name if I buy one from Fozzy?

We register domain names using your personal data. It means that domain names belong to you only and always. According to the agreement with registrars, Fozzy registers domains as a partner, thus domains solely belong to our customer.

Which registrars are used by Fozzy?

• Domains .COM .NET .ORG .MOBI .NAME .INFO .BIZ .TV .UK (both 2nd level and 3rd level) .ME .XXX .ADULT .PORN and all new TLDs are registered via Pananames.com – our own ICANN-accredited registrar, which is part of our holding.
• For .IN (both 2nd level and 3rd level) .NL .US .ES .EU we use ResellerClub.

Which TLD (e.g. .COM, .NET) should I use?

Nowadays, using different TLDs (Top Level Domain) doesn’t affect or restrict the user in any kind.

How long will it take for my domain to be accessible after I pay for it?

The domain registration takes approximately 30 minutes in case all the necessary data is specified. In order to ensure that the domain is accessible, you should wait for 8-24 hours (rarely 48 hrs) for the DNS information propagation. After that, your domain will be publicly listed.

Why domain transfer is not free?

Any domain name should be renewed for 1 year during the transfer. So basically you pay for the renewal, not for the transfer

Can you hide all the information on domain ownership from the domain?

You can choose this option on our website during the domain registration. It will cost you nothing. If this has not been done or the domain has been transferred from another registrar to ours, the domain owner’s personal data can be hidden on request in the ticket.

I changed DNS servers an hour ago, but still no changes.

You should wait 8-24 hours (rarely 48 hrs) for the DNS information propagation. It’s a technical procedure, there is no way to speed it up.
