Where to find settings for FTP connection?

You always have at least one main FTP account created along with your hosting service automatically and provide access to all hosting folders. The main FTP account login/password matches your control panel login/password and you can always find it in the welcome email. The login/password of an additional FTP account is displayed during the creation of this account.

FTP port: 21.

DirectAdmin

As a host for your FTP connection, you can use your control panel address displayed in the address bar of the browser. For example – da1.v.fozzy.com

Unfortunately, DirectAdmin does not allow you to view the password of the existing FTP account inside the panel.

In case you have lost the password of your FTP account, you can simply change it inside the panel. Just find the “Account Manager” section in your dashboard and click the “FTP Management” button. Then click the needed account’s name, type a new password and click “Modify”.

cPanel

As a host for your FTP connection, you can use your control panel address displayed in the address bar of the browser. For example – cpanel6.v.fozzy.com

By default, you already have an FTP account in your cPanel. Use your cPanel username and password to log into it.

If you lost your password from the main FTP account (cPanel control panel), you can simply change it in your client area. To do this, just go to “Services” — “My Services” — “Manage” — “Change password”.

ISPmanager

By default, you already have an FTP account in your ISPmanager. Use your ISPmanager username and password to log into it.

In case you have lost the password of your FTP account, you can simply change it inside the panel. Just find the “Dashboard” section and click the “FTP users” button. Then select an account and click the “Edit” button, type a new password and click “Ok”.
