Where to find hosting resource usage statistics
Web hosting limits are necessary in order to distribute computing power evenly among customers. You can check out the specifications and limits for web hosting plans.
If you received a notification that your CPU usage limit has been exceeded, it means that your account’s CPU usage has exceeded the daily limit.
Information about CPU usage is available in client area -> Services -> Manage -> CPU time.
Information about using the other resources is available in the control panels:
DirectAdmin
Resource usage statistics can be found in the “Extra Features” section. Click the “Resource Usage” button, then [Details]. The “Resource usage” plugin will be loaded allowing you to overview a number of resources used by your account in graphs and tables. You can also select a timeframe of the displayed statistics using the drop-down list.
cPanel
You can get detailed statistics on your account’s resource usage for a certain period in the “Metrics” -> “Resource usage” section. Depending on your account’s resource usage, you can get one of the following messages:
- Your site had no issues in the past 24 hours – your account has not had any restrictions within the last 24 hours;
- Your site has been limited within the past 24 hours – your account has been hitting at least one resource limit in the last 24 hours. cPanel displays additional information about which resource (or resources) caused the limit.
To view detailed information about resource usage, click the “Details” button or click the “Current Usage” tab.
You can view a snapshot of resource usage by clicking on the “Snapshot” tab. Depending on your account’s resource usage, cPanel can display a list of processes, a list of database requests, and HTTP requests.
ISPmanager
You can see the current server load in the “Statistics” – “System resources” section. You can also select a timeframe of the displayed statistics using the drop-down list.
Plesk
The “Statistics” section feature information about disk and traffic usage, as well as the link to web statistics that present a detailed overview of the site’s visitors.
