How to Connect to ARK Server through Steam Favorites List

1. Start Steam.
2. At the top menu, select «View → Servers».
3. Click on «Favorites».
4. Click «Add a Server».
5. Paste your server’s IP and Port. You can find the IP address and Port of your Valheim Server in the welcome email we send you after you order a game server. You can also find it in your game control panel (see the screenshot below).
   
6. Click «Add this address to Favorites».
   
7. Launch ARK.
8. Click «Join ARK».
9. Switch from «Official Servers» to «Favorites».
10. Click on the server you have just added and click «Join».

How to Connect to ARK Server through ARK Startup Options

1. Start Steam and open your Steam Library.
2. Right-click on «ARK: Survival Evolved».
3. Click on the «Properties» option.
4. Navigate to the «GENERAL» section.
5. Navigate to the bottom of this section and find «LAUNCH OPTIONS».
6. Type +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 (change to your server’s IP).
   • Use +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 +password YOURPASSWORD if the server is password protected.
7. Close the window.
8. Start ARK via Steam. The game will automatically connect to the defined server.

How to Set a Password on the ARK Server

1. Log in to your game control panel.
2. If you have more than one game server, click on your ARK Server in the server overview.
3. In the top menu, click on “Startup”.
4. Set the password in the “Server Password” field.
5. Restart your server in the “Console” tab.
